This young Dollar bird lost its shirt

Posted in Nature Mort by St33v on Saturday, 22 November 2008.
Recently we noticed that one of the two local Dollar Bird chicks had disappeared. Yesterday, while tracing the boundary of the new pond of water left by the recent heavy rain, I came across this carcass.

A reminder of the good old days, before deisel

A horse-drawn hay rake. Simple design, simple to operate: Strap your horse in at the front, sit on the seat, raise and lower the tines of the rake to make bale-sized windrows. Perhaps we'll see this machine in action one day?

Yes we have comments and yes the template is a bit busted

Posted in Uncategorized by webmaster on Thursday, 06 November 2008.

Hi all,

Just to let u know that:

  1. I’ve just upgraded Wordpress, so:
    • The PHP 5 error that occured whenever anyone tried to look at any page except the frontpage is gone.
    • I have finally cleared the spam backlog. I found 1 real comment in about a thousand. Akeismet did the heavy lifting. Apologies if u left a comment but it was swept away in the spam flood.
  2. I’ve been “fixing the template until is is broken” but I’ll work out the layout soonish.
